Hi Everyone,
I am finding the new version of the Bartels-Tarasov Spectrum module to be a huge improvement over the regular Q Spectrum implementation. Thank you Sergey.
Here is a short 4 min video on how I am using it to predict the next 4 hours of price action on EURUSD starting at 01:00 server time, UTC+ 3 hrs on daylight saving time. I set a tp of 5 pips and enter between 01:00 and 01:30....

Sure, I could do that tomorrow. The first thing is what time horizon and what kind of bars, 30 min 1 hr, daily, etc. Now I narrow down the range by measuring the most recent swing low to high or high to low... I set that as the number on the low end of the range (that is really 1/2 cycle) and 5X that number on the high end of the range.... Knowing when to invert the cycle is the big key to all of this.
I will create a video for SNP 500 using 5 min bars and a 1 hr time horizon for you.....

Here is a short video of how the Bartels-Tarasov, algo #5 performed on a full day of the NY session using 5 min bars.
The text in the video is:
SNP 500, Tuesday March 28, NY open at 9:30 am EST 16:30, server time, 7 hrs ahead to EST
I am using MT4, 5 min bars
Step 1, Measure the most recent swing in number of bars.
Step 2, Set the min bars to that number (12) and the max to 5X (60)
Adjust the swing high of the projection line to most recent swing using ROC lag if necesary.
Price action was accurate (enough) through the close of the NY session
SM 12, SZ 30 in this instance.
Last cycle was "normal"
Use "Autoselect"

Thank You Jerry, Your video on SP500 was most helpful. How many days of 5 min data is necessary for your analysis? Did you experiment with other timeframes?

Hi Ralph,
I always load 10,000 bars from my MT4 chart, no matter the time frame. In the case of 5 min bars, that goes back to February 6th. I mostly work with 30 min bars but will look more closely at 5 and 15 min bars after Sergey K. made the request for SNP 500. I do want to emphasize that picking the number of bars from minimum to maximum is dependent on the PA of the most recent 12-24 hours... is price trending or choppy? That calls for longer or shorter choices in the min-max settings.
Looking back earlier in March, here is a 200 - 2000 bar setting....
Now, leave curve "normal", or invert it?
After inverting, here is the PA for the rest of the day
I would love it if others who are interested in intra day PA, help test these ideas... Bartels Algo #5 is amazing though.
